I am Jennie Scragg and I started my carrier in IP back in 1999 with Bonnekamp & Sparing in Düsseldorf. I am a certified paralegal experienced in all areas of IP. At a very early stage in my professional carreer, I had the chance to take on merger and accquisition projects, change management for restructuring of office processes and technologies. Also I became a certified trainer and after that, an Office Manager (each certified by the German Chamber of Commerce). After 10 fulfilling years in several private partices in different parts of German – but always working globally, I was seeking new challenges in the IP area.

In 2010 I was headhunted to Switzerland by Schindler based on my broad IP expertise, experience and know-how. I switched to the industrial branch of IP and continued to learn, gain knowledge, transform, lead projects for change management, process management, large scale portfolio transfers and of course to train teams and employees. During that time, I alsostudied and successfully graduated in International Business Administration at the University of Hagen in Germany.

In 2015 I decided to offer my well grounded, broad IP expertise and experience as a service for other IP related businesses, thus founding my own company “Scragg Business Consultation”.

I have been engaged as a speaker at the EPO (European Patent Office) in Munich and for “Women in IP” in Switzerland.
